An additional 33,376 people have been infected with the Covid-19 in India.
According to the Union Ministry of Health on Saturday morning, 25,010 of the newly infected people are in the state of Kerala alone.
Recently, the number of daily infections in Kerala has been very high. The number of infected people is higher in Kerala than in the rest of India.
The total number of infected people in India has reached 33.28 million so far, the ministry said.
According to the ministry, the number of people infected with coronavirus in India is 391,516.
Similarly, the number of deaths due to coronavirus in India has reached 442,317 so far. Of them, 308 have died in the last 24 hours.
In the same period, 32,198 people have been infected with the coronavirus. The total number of those free from infection is 32.374 million.
Although the number of daily infections in India has been increasing for the past few weeks, it has been declining in the last few days.
