A person has been killed in Birtamode Municipality-4 of Jhapa. The deceased has been identified as Bhatru Rajbanshi, 50, of Kachankawal village municipality-3. He is an auto driver.
The spokesperson of the District Police Office, Jhapa, Rakesh Thapa said that he was killed due to injuries on his head, face, and other parts of his body. Devnarayan Rajbanshi, 15, son of the deceased has told the police that his younger uncle killed his father in the room and fled.
Spokesperson Thapa said that Ratan Lal Rajbanshi, 38, of the same ward, had beaten him to death and then fled with his nine-year-old son on a bicycle.
