Federal Council President of Janata Samajwadi Party Dr. Baburam Bhattarai said that the agreement between the US Agency for International Development (USAID) Millennium Challenge Corporation and the Government of Nepal should be passed MCC Compact.
While debating the pros and cons of the MCC, former Prime Minister Bhattarai said that the MCC should be approved by the parliament. Writing a post on Twitter, he said MCC and BRI should be taken forward.
He also said that there should be a national consensus. The remarks by the JSP leader, a key component of the ruling coalition, indicate that the government is preparing to pass the MCC in the upcoming parliamentary session.
