Three persons were killed when a passenger bus and a truck collided at Gaindakot in Nawalpur district.
Twenty-four people have been injured in the accident.
Gaindakot Municipality Ward No.10 The bus (Far-Western Region 02-001 Kha 1123) and the truck (Na 6 Kha 7126) coming from the opposite direction collided near 23 Smriti Bridge at 4 am on Tuesday.
Two women and a man were killed when the bus fell 10 feet off the road, said Dilip Kumar Giri, information officer at the District Police Office, Nawalpur.
They succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment at the new medical college in Bharatpur Chitwan. The identities of the dead have not been disclosed.
According to police, 24 people have been injured in the accident. The injured are undergoing treatment at the new medical college in Bharatpur.
