Chelsea tops the English Premier League


Chelsea beat Southampton 3-1 in the Premier League on Sunday night. With the victory, London club Chelsea has risen to the top position.

Trevoh Chalobah scored for Chelsea in the ninth minute, Timo Berner in the 84th minute, and Ben Chilwellin the 89th minute at Stanford Bridge. James Ward Prowse scored for Southampton in the 61st minute. Goalkeeper James was sent off in the 77th minute for a red card.

After the victory, it has risen to the top spot by adding 16 points from 7 games. Liverpool, who have played one game less, are in second place with 14 points.

In the next game, Manchester United and Everton drew 1-1. United and Everton are third and fourth, respectively, with 14 points from seven games.

Arsenal and Brighton played a goalless draw. Brighton is in the fifth position with 14 points from 7 games. Arsenal is in ninth place with 10 points.
