Following Lionel Messi‘s sensational move from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain this summer,

Cristiano Ronaldo, Argentina’s great nemesis, could be ready for a career makeover as well.

According to reports, the Juventus forward is willing to leave the Serie A club, with Manchester City the preferred destination at the moment. City, who spent £100 million on Jack Grealish this window, is hesitant to commit a transfer fee for Ronaldo, who is 36 years old.

However, now that City’s main target Harry Kane has declared he would not be leaving Tottenham this summer, the Premier League champions may be tempted to pursue the Portugal winger.

Real Madrid has made headlines by launching a £137 million approach for Kylian Mbappe. PSG has turned down the offer, but Leonardo, the French club’s sporting director, appeared to reveal that the France international wants to move to La Liga to fulfill a childhood dream. Mbappe’s contract will expire next summer, and PSG may opt to take the money rather than let the superstar depart for free the next year.

Meanwhile, Manchester United continues to compete with PSG for Renne’s wonder Eduardo Camavinga, who is one year away from becoming a free agent and is expected to make a late transfer window move to help his club salvage some value.

In other West Ham news, Lille midfielder Jonathan Bamba has been connected with a move to the London Stadium, with the 25-year-old being considered as a potential replacement for Jesse Lingard, who has returned to Old Trafford after an incredible loan spell at the London Stadium.

Chelsea is looking into a possible loan deal for Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez.
