The Dumre-Lamjung Besisahar road section of Tanahu district has been blocked.
The road was blocked when a landslide fell on 500 fields of Bhanunagar Municipality-8 on Monday night. The general public had to suffer due to landslides in the area in June and July.
According to Kabindra Gurung, Deputy Inspector in charge of Purkot Police Post, dozers and tippers of the Road Division Office have been ordered to remove the landslide.
He said that he had called to send dozers and tippers to prevent the landslide since morning but it was delayed as the phone did not pick up. According to him, the blocked road will be reopened after some time as he was informed that the dozer and tipper had already left.
