Four people have been killed and one injured when a car was swept away by a river in the Dang district.

The deceased have been identified as Shusila Shrestha, 32, Rita Maya Pun, 40, of Ghorahi Sub-Metropolis-13, Radha Kunwar, 29, of Ghorahi-14, and Bimala KC, 40, of Ghorahi-14, said Mukunda Prasad Rijal, spokesperson of the District Police Office, Dang.
The bodies of Bimala and Rita were found three kilometers away from the spot at around 6:15 this morning, according to police.
