The weather forecast department has stated that the heavy rain that has been continuing for a few days will continue for a few more days.
Even today, it is raining all over the country. There is light to moderate rain in Province 1, Province 2, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini.
According to the Weather Forecast Division, there will be continuous rain till Tuesday.
The incessant rains have increased the risk of flooding in small and large rivers and streams while the risk of landslides in hilly areas remains the same. Various places in the Terai are being submerged. Highways are being blocked.
The department has informed to take precautions saying that the flow of water in the river may increase as there is no soil erosion and small and big floods in the hilly areas.
