The upcoming Everest Premier League will be telecast live in Nepal by Himalaya Television. Similarly, OSR Sports has got the broadcasting rights of digital.
The Everest Premier League has signed a contract with Himalaya TV for the live broadcast of the competition which will be held from September 25 to October 9.
Until a few days ago, Action Sports had said that it would broadcast it live, but it was decided only on Thursday with Himalaya TV.
This time some star foreign players are also expected to participate in the six-team competition.
In which Pakistani player Shahid Afridi, former Sri Lankan captain Dinesh Chandimal will play.
The international broadcast of the EPL will be done by Van Sports. The same feed will be pulled by Himalaya TV and ISR.
Bhairahawa Gladiators, Biratnagar Warriors, Chitwan Tigers, Kathmandu Kings, Lalitpur Patriots, and Pokhara Rhinos will participate in the competition.
In this EPL, Kathmandu captain Sandeep Lamichhane will play, while Bhairahawa captain Sharad and Chitwan captain Sompal Kami will play. The rest of the team is yet to announce its captain in this season’s EPL.
The organizers have said that they will soon announce the amount of the prize money for the EPL.
