Hospital Playlist season 2, episode 12 recap – the finale | Korean
The two-hour finale contains a lot of action, but there are a few key conclusions. The chapter begins with the usual commotion of a hospital. A kid patient of Ahn Jeong-has won’s the option of undergoing a rigorous operation. The mother is now considering giving it a try in order to properly feed her child.
It’s a transplant of the small intestine. The professor wants to consider it because the survival percentages aren’t looking good. Jn-wan discusses surgery on another kid patient with Marfan syndrome, which has been postponed several times due to numerous factors. In the climax, there are a lot of serious medical situations.
We get to watch the pals meet together for lunch for the last time, but Ik-jun isn’t there. Song-Hwa confesses that she and Ik-jun are dating, although they continue to treat each other as friends. She needs to make it clear that they are dating. Later, Seok-hyeong informs Song-Hwa that he is dating Min-ha, and she is ecstatic.
Seok-hyeong then realizes that Song-Hwa is dating Ik-jun, and he is ecstatic for her. There are plenty of happy endings in Episode 12. Following that, the series provides the audience what they want: a romantic Song-Hwa and Ik-jun, who flirt, tease, and love each other. To be honest, there hasn’t been much of a change.
They’ve always been like this, which adds to the overall wholesomeness of the situation.
Jun-wan, along with his kid patient Eun-dam, is having trouble breathing properly. He informs the mother that the procedure is high-risk, and he wants it done as quickly as possible because they are running out of time.
Min-ha informs Seok-hyeong that she has been waiting for him for a long time. So they kiss, and it feels like a long time as the couple relishes their time together in a passionate embrace. It’s simple to be as happy for these two as for any other relationship.
There are plenty of urgent surgeries and worry as the finale approaches. It’s a mix of ICU-related crises and already scheduled procedures. Hospital Playlist, like every previous episode, shows the audience the reality of life in a hospital, both the good and the bad: life and death.
And as we get to the end of this series, we must recognize their efforts. In episode 12, there is a death, and Song-Hwa has to break the news to the family, which is heartbreaking. But it’s accompanied by positive outcomes, so it’s a never-ending cycle of bittersweetness for these professionals.
Ahn Jeong-won reveals a bombshell: he’s going to the United States to explore and examine bowel transplants as well. Gyeo-ul, to his surprise, will accompany him. He promises them that a year will fly quickly, yet the room is somber. Ik-jun believes this is their final jam session. We get our jam session, and it’s just as good as it’s always been.
The conclusion
Jun-wan meets Ik-sun at the end of the chapter. As they hug it out, there’s a sense of hope for this pair. There’s no way they’re not going to move on from here. They are in love with one other. In addition, Hospital Playlist chooses to end on a happier note; Jae-kid hak’s is born, and there is joy.

If that isn’t closure, I don’t know what is. The episode finishes with the main protagonists outside the hospital, gazing at the magnificent sky. However, because this is a medical drama, we can’t rule out the possibility of a comeback.

- As for Gyeo-ul and Ahn Jeong-won, things are calming between them as they find clarity. Gyeo-ul wants to introduce him to her mother as she’s explained that she loves him.
