Italy beat England to win the 16th edition of the Euro Cup.
Italy clinched the title by defeating England 3-2 in a penalty shootout in the final last night.
The game ended in a 1-1 draw at Wembley Stadium after 90 minutes and extra time ended in a penalty shootout. Italy won on penalties.
Italy’s Dominico Berardi, Leonardo Bunichi, and Federico Bernadeschi scored from the penalty spot. Andre Bellotti and Jorgenho’s shots were blocked by the England goalkeeper.
Only England’s Harry Kane and Harry Maguire scored. Marcus Rashford’s shot bounced off the post, while Jadon Sancho and Saka Bakuio’s shots were saved by the Italian goalkeeper.
The early lead in the game was made by England. Luke Shawley scored in the second minute to give England the lead.
However, Leonardo Bunichi scored in the 67th minute to give Italy a 1-1 draw.
