The Ministry of Home Affairs has transferred the Chief District Officer of Kathmandu, Kali Prasad Parajuli.
Parajuli has been transferred to the ministry.
He has been replaced by Govinda Prasad Rijal, Joint Secretary of the Administration Division of the Ministry. Parajuli’s branch will be identified after his appearance at the ministry.
Parajuli was angry with Baluwatar and the Home Ministry. Recently, Madhav Kumar Nepal had convened a meeting of central members at Chandragiri Resort in the process of forming a new party.
CDO Parajuli had asked the resort for an explanation saying that a crowd had gathered during the epidemic. The then KP Sharma Oli-led government had given Parajuli the responsibility of Chief District Officer of Kathmandu.
