Five people have been killed in landslides in different parts of the Parbat. Three people have gone missing.
Two persons have been found dead in a landslide in Kusma Municipality-3 after continuous rains.
The bodies of 15-year-old Bimala Poudel and 11-year-old Binita Poudel have been recovered from the same house. According to Shivaraj Budathoki, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, a search is on for the three missing persons.
Similarly, two persons were killed in a landslide in 11 Pakuwa of Kushma Municipality. The deceased have been identified as Durga Poudel, 35, and her 6-year-old son Ganesh Poudel, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Budhathoki.
Similarly, 50-year-old Thulimaya Thapa died after being buried in a landslide in Modi village.
