‘Nepotism is a useless debate’
The ‘Gulmohar’ star recently gave an interview to ANI, in which he admitted that nepotism is a futile debate. He said that if someone wants to cast a star, then no one can stop him from doing so, because he is spending his own money. Most of it has to do with connections and relationships. If you have a good relationship with someone, you would like to work with him more, but if he is going to replace me with some tau ji’s boy, then film mein uska paisa hai, jo karna chahta hai kare.
Who does favoritism?
He further told that who is there, who does partiality. For this, he held the film exhibitors responsible. Keeping his point, he said, ‘Exhibitors show favoritism. When you are giving him 100 screens, then give at least 25 to me. If you give all to him, then what about me? The more powerful one is, the more he keeps on rotating the wheel of his power.
‘There are only two forms of people’
‘The Family Man’ actor Manoj Bajpayee said in the same interview that it is not right to demand fairness from only one industry. He said, ‘I have seen many people who write something else on Twitter and do exactly the opposite at their workplace. That’s why there is a contradiction. If you are demanding fairness, then demand fairness in every walk of life.
