The Sindhupalchowk-Melamchi Municipality has brought the Melamchi-Panch Pokhari road blocked by the landslide into operation.
The upper part of the district, including Bhotang, Gunsa, Manekhark, and Thangpalkot, is easily accessible.
The people of Thangpal had publicly appealed to the municipality to open the road through social media. Chief Administrative Officer of the municipality Amrit Kumar Dhital informed that the Melamchi Panchpokhari road has come into operation.
