Newly appointed Foreign Minister Dr. Narayan Khadka has taken the oath of office and secrecy on Wednesday.
He was administered the oath of office by President Bidya Devi Bhandari in the presence of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba at the President’s residence, Sheetal Niwas.
On the recommendation of Prime Minister Deuba, Dr. Khadka was appointed a minister by President Bhandari on Wednesday. After taking the oath, Khadka will take charge at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday. He will then lead a Nepali delegation to New York to attend the UN General Assembly.
