The covid-19 infection has been confirmed in 1,078 people across the country in the last 24 hours.
In the last 24 hours, 12 people have died and 911 have recovered from the corona infection.
With the new additions, the total number of corona infections in Nepal has reached 886,614. Of them, 7,65,758 have been infected so far and 11,135 have died.
According to the ministry, 16,802 of them actively infected people across the country are currently in home isolation. There are 1,366 people in such institutional isolation. Of the corona patients, 353 are being treated in the ICU and 117 in the ventilator.
Of the Corona infected in the last 24 hours, 369 are from Kathmandu Valley. Of them, 267 are from Kathmandu, 65 from Lalitpur, and 37 from Bhaktapur.
According to the ministry, an additional 174 people have contracted corona in Province 1, 16 in Province 2, and 455 in Bagmati. Similarly, 103 people have been infected in Gandaki, 86 in Lumbini, 36 in Karnali, and 28 in the far-western states.
