Covid-19 infection has been confirmed in 1,640 people in the last 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 9,767 PCR tests were performed tested positive on 1,347 people and 3,688 antigen tests were performed tested positive on 293 people Totaling 1,640 people were found to be infected with the Covid-19.
In the last 24 hours, 10 people have died from corona infection and 2,161 have been cured.
With the addition of Wednesday, the total number of corona infections in Nepal has reached 773,529. Of them, 10 thousand 889 people have died and 7 lakh 33 thousand 161 people have been infected.
According to the ministry, the number of actively infected people in the country is 29,479. Out of which 27 thousand 690 are in home isolation and 1 thousand 789 are in institutional isolation. Of the corona patients, 488 are being treated in the ICU and 140 in the ventilator.
Corona infection has been detected in 27 children under the age of 10, while 128 people in the age group of 11 to 20 years have been confirmed to be infected with the Covid-19, the ministry said.
