In the last 24 hours, an additional 2295 people have been infected with the Covid-19. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the infection was confirmed in 2,295 people, including 1,902 in 11,892 PCR tests and 393 in 4,341 antigen tests.
In the last 24 hours, 1,808 people have been cured of coronavirus and 16 have died.
With the addition on Monday, the total number of corona infections in Nepal has reached 761,124. At the same time, the number of deaths in Nepal has reached 10,730 and 714520 people have become infection-free.
According to the ministry, there are currently 35,874 active infected people across the country. Out of which 33 thousand 333 are in home isolation and 2 thousand 541 are in institutional isolation. Of the corona patients, 568 are being treated in the ICU and 160 in the ventilator.
Similarly, corona infection has been confirmed in 39 children under 10 years of age and 156 corona infections in the age group of 11 to 20 years have been added.
