Nepal reports 2,838 new Covid-19 cases and 30 deaths Today

In the last 24 hours, an additional 2,838 people have been confirmed infected with Covid-19

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 8,715 PCR tests confirmed 1,918 and 3,901 antigen tests tested positive for 2,838 people, including 931 people.

In the last 24 hours, 1,475 people have been recovered, and 30 have died.

With the addition of Wednesday, the total number of corona infections in Nepal has reached 672,871. Of them, 9,637 have died and 636,402 have been recovered.

According to the ministry, the number of actively infected people in the country is 26,832. 

Out of which 24 thousand 340 are in home isolation and 2 thousand 492 are in institutional isolation. 

Of the corona patients, 627 are being treated in the ICU and 171 in the ventilator.

Infections District Wise

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 490 corona infections have been confirmed in Kathmandu, 185 in Kaski, 170 in Jhapa, 163 in Chitwan, and 128 in Lalitpur.

Similarly, 79 cases of corona have been reported in Bhaktapur, 52 in Sunsari, 47 in Tanahu, 41 in Rupandehi, 35 in Makwanpur, and 32 in Palpa.

Similarly, 29 in Baglung, 27 in Jumla, 26 in Kailali, 25/25 in Kavre and Dang, 21 in Morang, 19/19 in Dhading, Sindhupalchowk, and Nawalparasi East, 18/18 in Dolakha and Kanchanpur, 16/16 in Dhankuta and Bardiya, and 15 in Nuwakot.

14/14 people in Lamjung and Syangja, 13/13 people in Myagdi and Gulmi, and 11 people in Rasuwa, the ministry said.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, corona infection has been confirmed in 62 children under the age of 10 and 196 in the age group of 11 to 20 years.
