Nepal weather: Currently, the weather across the country is partly to moderately cloudy.
According to the Weather Forecast Division under the Department of Water and Meteorology, light to moderate rains are expected in Bagmati, Gandaki, Far West, Karnali, and a few places in Province 1.
The department has said that there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some places with normal cloud cover from noon to night today (Saturday).

The department has also issued warnings and advice for the next 24 hours and requested to take general precautions as the water level in rivers and streams may rise along with the risk of soil erosion, landslides, and drift in the hilly areas.
Nepal’s climate is changing due to the partial effect of the low-pressure area around Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh in India. Also, the monsoon low-pressure line is slightly south of the average position.
