Israel is going to import food items including tea, coffee, and rice from Nepal.
According to the Nepali embassy in Israel, some importers have been identified while searching for Israelis who want to import Nepali goods and products for export.
He recently met Nepali Ambassador to Israel Dr. Anjaan Shakya met at the embassy and said that he would import tea and coffee from Nepal as well as rice, pulses (meat, lentils, gram, rajma, Beans, and nuts).
Similarly, they have shown interest in importing spice products (sweetmeat, cardamom, cinnamon, chili, turmeric, ginger, etc.), the embassy said.
According to the embassy, the Federation of Nepalese Export Entrepreneurs has been informed about their demand. Ambassador Shakya has requested to contact the embassy if Nepali goods and products are to be exported to Israel.
