A man who was seriously injured in a Udayapur jeep collision in Kharkhola of Belka Municipality-9 has died while undergoing treatment.
According to the District Police Office, the deceased has been identified as Ram Chandra Rai, 40, of Belka-2. Rai was hit by a Bolero jeep (Pradesh 1-02-002Cha 4874) heading east from the west under Madan Bhandari Marg on Wednesday afternoon.
According to Bed Prasad Gautam, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Rai succumbed to his injuries while being rushed to BP Memorial Hospital, Dharan for treatment.
The driver and Bolero who hit Rai have been taken under control by the Area Police Office, Belka, Rampur.
