Korean Ambassador Poomsae Taekwondo from tomorrow

Poomsae Taekwondo Championship

The 10th Korean Ambassador National Open Virtual Poomsae Taekwondo Championship organized by the Nepal Taekwondo Association will be held from Friday.


Bhanu Chand, vice-president of the Nepal Taekwondo Association, said that 593 athletes would participate in the competition with the support of the South Korean Embassy in Nepal.

390 male and 203 female players will participate. According to the organizers, almost all the medal winners of the 13th South Asian Games (SAG) will compete in Poomsae.

A total of 26 gold medals will compete in the three-day competition. There are a total of 26 events in the men’s / women’s individual 6-6 with 12, 12 in the pair and team 6-6 and in the family and taekwondo aerobics 1-1 with 2.

According to the organizers, the competition is being organized virtually in the middle of the city due to the risk of coronavirus.
