Businessman Rukma Shamsher Rana has passed away. Rana, who also became the managing director of Dabur Nepal, died at his residence in Battisputali, Kathmandu on Saturday morning.
He had brought the multinational company Dabur to Nepal.
He was Nepal’s Ambassador to India from 2009 to 2011. He was also the member secretary of the National Sports Council (NSC).
Born in 1936, he is the youngest son of Nepali Congress founder Subarna Shamsher Rana. He suffered from kidney, sugar, and blood pressure problems.
