The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested and detained eight people, including Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan.

Aryan has been accused of participating in a cruise rave party. The NCB had raided a cruise during a rave party in Mumbai on Saturday night.

The party was attended by Aryan, Munmun Dhamecha, and Arbaaz Merchant. The NCB arrested all of them under the NDPS Act 1985. However, Aryan is in one-day NCB custody. The NCB has claimed that drugs like cocaine, hashish, and MD were found in Aryan and other persons.

All, including Aryan, have been charged under Sections 8-C, 20-B, 27, and 35 of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS). According to this section, a person who uses drugs is liable to a maximum of one-year imprisonment or a fine of Rs 20,000.

While presenting Aryan in court, prosecution lawyer Advait Seth had demanded that Aryan be kept in NCB custody for two days. But the court granted only one day’s approval. Aryan’s lawyer Satish Mane Sinde has mentioned that there is no cabin book in Aryan’s name in the crew and he does not have a seat. The lawyer claims that Aryan does not even have a boarding pass. According to the lawyer, he went to accept the invitation of his friends. According to the lawyer, Aryan was arrested only on the basis of WhatsApp chat.
