Namita Thapar is a mother of two children today, but expressed her pain when she was not able to conceive. She shared how even today talking about IVF and infertility is a taboo in the society.
Painful story of Namita Thapar
Actually, in the last episode, three pitchers brought products related to IUI, which helps in conceiving pregnancy through easy process. Pitchers also talked about IVF. On this, Judge Namita Thapar told her painful story of IVF. Namita disclosed that after her first child, she could not conceive for 3 to 4 years, so I got IVF done 2 times, but that too was unsuccessful.
went through physical-emotional pain
Sharing her feelings about the same, Namita said, ‘In my case when I was 28, I wanted to get pregnant and in 2 months I got pregnant and after that for 3 to 4 years I Tried and I could not conceive pregnancy. I have gone through 2 IVF and those 25 injections and physical-emotional pain.
‘I couldn’t talk about it for 10 years’
Namita further told, her IVF failed both times and then she conceived naturally. He said, ‘I tried twice and failed both times, so I gave up and was happy with a child. Then a miracle happened and I conceived naturally, but what I remembered, I could not speak about it for 10 years because I found it very scary. But 6 months ago I talked to the doctor about infertility and I kept thinking all night whether I can go public about it. People said it is personal and why do you want to talk about it? But then I followed my heart and for the first time I talked about it and wrote about this special thing in my book.
Leads father’s company
After working for six years in ‘Guidant Corporation USA’, Namita joined her father Satish Mehta’s company ‘Emcure Pharmaceuticals’ as CFO. She is currently leading her company’s business in India and is leading around 4000 medical representatives across the country.
