Two people have died when a landslide buried their house in Rolpa.
His wife Gauri Thapa, 70, and a 5-year-old child have died when a landslide near the Rolpa Municipality-10 ward office buried Purna Bahadur Thapa’s house. The name of the deceased child has not been disclosed.
The deceased have been identified as grandmother and grandson, said Rolpa Chief District Officer Nawaraj Sapkota. Two others have been injured in the landslide. The injured father is a daughter.
