The US military has launched a drone strike on Islamic State (IS) in Afghanistan.
An IS member has been killed in an attack in the eastern Afghan province of Nangarhar, the BBC has learned.
The United States has said no one was killed in the blast. The U.S. military says no civilians were injured in the attack.
