Hisar. A case has been registered against former cricketer Yuvraj Singh, TV actress Munmun Dutta alias Babita ji, Bollywood actress Yuvika Chowdhary in Hisar’s Hansi police station for making lewd remarks about SC society. But even after two years the charge sheet has not been presented. In such a situation, Hisar’s special court judge Vivek Singhal has taken the issue seriously. After all, why is there a delay in this, he has sought an answer.
Hearing the petition of complainant Rajat Kalsan, Hisar’s Special Court has issued an order to SP Crime, Panchkula, to present an affidavit on May 5 and clarify the reason for not filing the charge sheet yet. Earlier, the complainant advocate Rajat Kalsan, while presenting an argument before the special court, said that a case has been registered against the three celebrities under the SC ST Act. The maximum time limit to investigate in this is two months, but in the current cases it has been two years. The charge sheet has not been presented yet.
Supreme Court guidelines cited
Citing some guidelines issued by the Supreme Court, he told the court that the special court can ask the investigating agency to honestly investigate the cases registered, the court can also monitor the investigation. Not only this, the court can also give instructions to the investigating agency to present the final report in the case.
All three celebrities are on bail
Let us tell you that advocate Kalsan had filed cases against Yuvraj Singh, Munmun Dutta alias Babita ji and Yuvika Chaudhary under the SC ST Act in police station Hansi. Which was earlier investigated by the Hansi police. Due to which Munmun Dutta had earlier filed a petition in the Supreme Court to quash the FIR, which was rejected by the Supreme Court. After this, Yuvraj Singh’s petition to quash the FIR has also been rejected by the Punjab Haryana High Court. All three celebrities are on interim bail on the instructions of the High Court. In this case, after taking the investigation from the Hansi police, it was handed over to the State Crime Branch, after which all the three cases have been kept in cold storage.
